THE SONGWRITERS
Alan Shiner
Alan is an accomplished Toronto-area songwriter and musician. He has served as music director for a variety of corporate award and television shows and has written many commercial radio and television jingles. Alan is also the Nova Sounds bandleader and partner in Toyhouse Media Creations.
Marianne Wanyandi
Marianne is a songwriter of Cree and Italian descent, who was born and raised 70 km north of Grande Prairie, Alberta. Marianne's personal mission is to write songs that make a difference. With "Voyage Of A Lifetime (Follow Your Dreams)," it is her hope to honour past and present athletes around the world.
Gary Lubin
Since 1981, Gary has coached track and field athletes representing Canada at seven world championships. He is currently the high jump coach at the University of Guelph. Gary also works with other athletes at the provincial and national levels.
THE BAND
The Nova Sounds
The Nova Sounds group, based in Toronto, has performed thousands of club and concert dates throughout Canada, the US, Mexico and the Caribbean. Its lineup consists of talented, Juno award-winning vocalists and musicians. The group has opened for and been featured with countless celebrities and touring acts, and continues to entertain at corporate and private functions.
